WE NEED YOUR HELP
We need your help to sponsor these animals. Bob and I have been self-supportive of this ranch with my income as a medical transcriptionist and his disability. We have had a few major set backs this summer, along with work being slow. These are hard times right now, I know. Although, we have not lost a job, those out there who have lost jobs are being forced to give up their loved animals to new homes. With the financial hardship we are experiencing with the ecomony right now, people are having a hard time finding good homes for their animals, which results in some animals being snatched up, and taken to the slaughter house. When we opened in January 2010, we filled up quick and exceeded past our financial ability within the first 5 months. We live on the bare minimum in efforts to provide for these animals. We hoped to have raised money towards the nonprofit and apply for a grant, but financially have been held back from achieving this as of yet.
We are in the slowest time of the year with my work. Although, it is starting to pick up, we are still living on last month's earnings, as I get paid a month later for work I have turned in.
As of September 1, 2010, we are in the debt by $700.00+, which includes our feed bill for the animals for the month. We have tried to hold events to raise money in the past for the animals, but for the most part have been carrying the load on our own. We want to thank those who have made donations to the ranch, as every bit has been a blessing to us.
God has given us a future here at this ranch with these animals. We have endless plans for the future to interact these animals with the community for God's glory. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, as the future promises to be much brighter, but today we need your help to make it through to tomorrow.
Can you help sponsor an animal with a one-time gift or a monthly gift of $20. If I can get just 35 people to donate $20 this week, we can keep these animals fed and move forward with our work here.
These animals are counting on your support today. We can no longer make it on our own and need the support of the community to make it through this tough time we are going through. Can you help us and donate $20 per month or feed from your local feed store, all will be appreciated. I have been sharing the "Domino Effect" with you all throughout the past 8 months on FB to keep everyone updated on our events and our progress. We now are desparately in need of your assistance, without you we may have to relocate animals or do whatever is necessary to stay afloat.
We have been in prayer and feel that it is necessary to ask the community to help support us in this time of need. We trust the Lord will carry us through these hard times. I pray that you will open your hearts to help us through this. Any donation will be appreciated and much needed. Please give us hope for the future.
